It lies in the Willamette Valley, along the 45th parallel, and is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area. Originally named after Pioneer Thomas Done Keizur and his family, who arrived on the Wagon Train in 1843, Keizer offers numerous recreation facilities and attracts visitors from all over for its cuisines, family-fun activities, and outdoor access.
